In-person: Spiritual Hope with Jake Dartington

EVENT DESCRIPTION

On this day retreat, we will explore how our practice cultivates a wise sense of hope that helps us in times of rapid change and challenge. We will distinguish the near enemy of hope, that fixates on particular outcomes, from spiritual hope as an open-hearted quality that enables us to meet uncertainty with wisdom and compassion.

We will draw on contemporary and classical teachings to inspire a practice rooted in wise hope. As well as talks and periods of practice, there will be opportunities to ask questions and share reflections on this theme.

Events at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching.
