In-person: The Wisdom of Insecurity, The Security of Wisdom with Rosalie Dores & Jill Shepherd

EVENT DESCRIPTION

In a constantly shifting and changing world, where do we find true refuge? How might we ground in groundlessness, and find security in insecurity? Where are true peace and happiness to be found?

Over the course of this two-day non-residential retreat, we will explore a variety of meditation methods to deepen our foundations in the wisdom of the dharma, so that the teachings of the Buddha come alive, living, breathing through us, in our thoughts, speech and actions.

Each day will include some silent sitting and walking meditation as well as relational practice, meditating together in pairs and small groups using the guidelines of Insight Dialogue to access our shared wisdom.

TEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES

Events at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Instead our teachers rely on the generosity of participants for their livelihood. Click here for more information on the system of Dana.

BOOKING FEE

Please note that the booking fee is for the full weekend, it is not possible to book for one day only.

Sponsor: £120 – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.
Standard:  £85
Supported: £35 – For those unable to afford the standard rate.

Please pay the sponsor rate if you can. If you are unable to afford the supported rate please let us know. We try to ensure that no one is turned away because of lack of funds, providing places are available.
