EVENT DESCRIPTION

In this contemporary culture that glorifies individuality, self-expression, intellect and original ideas—and is also navel-gazing—one of the hardest things not to identify with is the content of our minds: the thoughts and inner chatter that we take to define who we are. But then what does it mean to look within? Who are we, if not our thoughts?

Thinking is a gift: it allows us to imagine, to remember, and to reflect on what matters. But it can also cloud our judgement and worsen our wellbeing.

During a day of practice and discussion we will explore various skilful ways to relate to the thinking mind, on and off the cushion, so it doesn’t get in the way of our life path but without making it our enemy either.

TEACHER SUPPORT AND EVENT PRICES

Events at London Insight are offered in a spirit of generosity. The price you pay goes towards the running of the event but does not include any payment to the teachers for their teaching. Sponsor: £50 – A voluntary higher rate enabling us to offer supported rate places.
Standard:  £35
Supported: £15 – For those unable to afford the standard rate.
