Online: The Honeyball Sutta with Leigh Brasington

On this online evening event, Leigh Brasington will explore the Honeyball Sutta.

EVENT OVERVIEW

The Honeyball Sutta (MN 18) gives a very clear explanation of how we process input from our senses. And it furthermore shows how we get caught up in mental proliferation (Papañca) which can lead to all sorts of unwelcomed results. We will discuss in detail the various mechanisms involved in our sensory processing as well as strategies for keeping a clear head and avoiding that unwanted mental chatter that gets us into so much dukkha. This sutta is brilliant in the way it weaves together teachings on the six-sense and the aggregates.

The evening will include meditation, a talk and Q&A.
