James has practised insight meditation for over 20 years, principally with the guidance of teachers from Gaia House. He is a Community Dharma Leader (CDL), authorised by the Gaia House Teachers Council.
Being a CDL means that someone is authorised to offer instruction in meditation and guidance in the Dharma teachings, including classes and day-long retreats in their locality or community, on a dana basis.
James was Director of London Insight Meditation 2011-14.
